Description: Ms. Anna's Collection. VAM-5B. Status as a common Carson City does not deprive the 1883-CC from popularity, especially when found so nice. This plussed example obviously should have earned a "star" from NGC s well given the frosty texture and radiant cartwheel effect, and especially given a very good strike. More important to the tremendous eye appeal, a wide crescent of olive-gold, cinnamon, lilac, and shimmering verdant green toning covers the left upper obverse third, while the remainder of the coin is essentially brilliant. Even so, a smaller crescent eclipses the reverse left. Wonderful!
