Description: Nicholas Jackson Collection. Overton-107 (R,3) should have the "III edge" but one cannot confirm for sure due to the slab insert. These appear to be very early, prime dies with no evidence of any die cracks whatsoever. Furthermore, the flashy field texture suggests recently polished dies, as if they had gone into production just prior to striking this prominently detailed half-dollar. Glinting gunmetal-green and shimmering cobalt hues emanate from both sides.
