Description: Overton-107 (R.3), prime die-state. The experimental "III edge" normally shows up for O-109, but this example has the double distinction of the better die-marriage, as well as the earliest die-state with no die cracks in the obverse right field. Viewers may note the slight weakness at the Liberty cap, as well as noticeable lack of details toward the lower-right of the reverse -- this is always seen for O-107. Not so often seen is the level of quality offered here, along with pleasing, original color and no major problems. At worst, a brief, light scratch at 11:30 of the obverse has practically blended into the background.
