Description: Overton-116 (R.3), early die-state (apparently). The obverse die-crack extends rightward all the way beneath "6" in the date, with a vestigial crack barely visible further to the right. On the reverse, the die crack that will eventually circle down to and below the eagle's tail almost stops, in this case, at "U" in UNITED, although again, it has begun to extend lower and right into the field. Cleaned and a bit chalky, this example doesn't really have enough luster to support the PCGS "AU detail" level, but ample definition of the bolder motifs will please many collectors.
