Description: Overdates comprise a fun little pair of early half-dollars. 1806/5 appears fully original and even offers hints of peripheral toning but worthy of mention is an old pinscratch at the forehead. 1808/7 was cleaned about 200 years ago and still retains hints of darker grey in the periphery, this bold example also showing delicate pinscratches, including one falling off the back of the Liberty cap. Two coin lot.
