Description:	Walk The Plank Collection. Overton-111, early die-state. Were the 1806 "6 over inverted 9" a more common variety, it might well be collected by multiple die-states. This example appears to be struck from very early dies, as the crack through the "8" terminates at the top of said numeral. In later states, it will eventually bisect the obverse die. The reverse also lacks the crack that eventually forms to connect each corner of "E" in LIBERTY to the rim. Fine details and original surfaces will call out nicely to many bidders, but be wary of a brief but moderately deep scratch drooping from OF on the reverse.
