Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1883-O MS-65 (DMPL), and an 1890 MS-65, both ICG
Lot Number: 398
Description: Captain Jack Collection. 1883-O appears to be profoundly DMPL, very possibly one of the first handful of strikes and a coin that in the past, could have qualified for the old ANACS sadly-no-longer-used "ultra deep-mirror prooflike" nomenclature. This is truly an unbelievable specimen. In addition, the pairing offers an 1890 with superb sharpness and essentially frostbite luster, if not for minor yellowish staining found on either side. Two coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
