Description: Like so many scrubby threads on Blackbeard's chin, numerous hairlines shimmer in the fields but yield quickly to edge luster for 1883-S. Pretty toning has begun to seize hold of the rims. 1885-S appears suitably close to "choice" in nearly every respect except for a little too much noise on the cheek. A silver-bright example to complete this two coin lot.
