Description: The Mastodon Collection. While no provenance is provided, the "look" is very much like that of a typical S.S. Central America example, of which this is almost certainly a representative. For one thing, noticeable tangerine color infuses the rim and peripheral areas, quickly modulating into lovely royal gold toward the central areas. Both sides are awash in opulent frosty texture and this helps elevate the vibrancy of the opulent luster. An irregular, curved little jagged abrasion beneath the chin might serve as a pedigree marker.
