Description: Bert Davies Collection. Consecutive semi-keys in pretty much ideal collector grades should make this an attractive grouping for any Indian cent enthusiast. Each was struck on a nice planchet, which is not at all a given for cents of the mid to late 1860s, and to a coin, the color looks just about ideal with nicer chocolate-brown hue. An old, small curving abrasion on the cheek for 1868 has completely toned down, 1869 offers a typical subdued strike and evidence of a die-clash, and 1870 seems bolder than average for XF-40, with close to two diamonds remaining. Three coin lot.
