Description: Andy Sheldon Consignment. Sheldon-22, "mounds reverse" is ideally named in this exceptionally late die-state, because the mounds on the reverse are fully formed, obscuring the leaves above "NE", and are also noticeable throughout other portions of the wreath. Some collectors have been known to focus on S-22 for die-stage collecting. PCGS calls this a cleaned coin, which seems to be an accurate statement, although the surface has since been recolored in tolerable sienna-brown tone.
