Description: 112 in XF-45 and 362 higher at PCGS. One has to wonder what held this 1807 Draped Bust half-dollar back from the AU grade. It has swirling luster that is not often seen on coins from this era. The reverse is particularly impressive, even showing some of the eagle's breast feathers. Weakness of strike along with wear on the center obverse is likely all that is holding this coin back from higher grades. A great example for the type that possesses uncommon luster and eye appeal (ls).
