Description: Papa Francis Consignment. Disruption of the planchet integrity is the result of some sort of impactful damage affecting both sides, as it appears something struck the obverse and bent the planchet, requiring subsequent attempts to ameliorate the problem. Thus, the planchet has been straightened back out to some extent, although for reasons forever lost to us, portions of the reverse have been harshly tooled away. Part of the hair detail remaining on the obverse represents the only suitable indications of sharpness level prior to the destruction, and we would take a stab at "fine details". She has certainly seen better days, but nonetheless, this is a genuine 1792 half-disme and will find a place in someone's holdings (scotia).
