Description: U.K. Lorgnettes Collection. 67 graded MS-67, 4 higher at PCGS. Barring acquisition of a proof, this is just about as close as one gets to capturing the pinnacle of the minter's art, as the intricate details have been brought up to near-specimen definition. Frosty texture rolls around the surface unimpeded by any except perhaps a couple of the most minute abrasions imaginable. But the luster and color are what makes the day, because vivid rose-grey and wintergreen intermix on both sides, the latter color providing most of the "oomph" for the extremely attractive reverse.
