Lot Title: 1936 and 1937, both PCGS MS-67 CACCAC
Lot Number: 793
Description: VT Aerostyle Collection. Superb Gem nickels comprise this brilliant pairing of exceptionally high-quality bison nickels. Shimmering coral-gold interacts with pleasing aero-blue toning over the entire surface of 1936, and this is an absurdly sharp example, featuring absolutely hammered, fully rounded details over the Indian's braid and at the bison's tail. Were it not for noticeable die-flow texture, one could mistake this as proof sharpness. Amazingly, the 1937 is very nearly as sharp, with just a smidgeon less detail seen within the rugosity of the bison's hide, and this example features delightful arctic blue and alpine-green extensively strewn across each side, with some crimson-violet threads added into the reverse toning scheme for good measure. An absolutely resounding, masterfully produced pairing of Philadelphia specimens within this two coin lot.
