Lot Title: 1909-S S Over Horizontal S MS-64RD, 1910-S MS-64RD, and a 1931-S MS-64RD, all PCGS CACCAC
Lot Number: 729
Description: Glen Galleria CollectionSan Francisco gets representation within this PCGS-certified trio. 1909-S "S Over Horizontal S" was all the rage a few years ago, until collectors realized that it might be one of the most common "varieties" within the entire series, this example showing beautiful clay-red but also a number of carbon flecks on the reverse. 1910-S appears to be a near-twin given boldly shimmering orange luster and marvelous sharpness. Finally, the crimson-burgundy 1931-S has mellowed significantly such that the "RD" designation seems a little optimistic, although apparently, CAC was satisfied with it. Three coin lot.
