Description: Bass-Dannreuther-4 has the right foot of "T" in LIBERTY intact, and as a single-use obverse die, that is sufficient for attribution. "MS-61" tends to imply a coin of impaired eye-appeal, yet the bold details and generally pleasing luster seen here speak to a coin whose appeal modestly exceeds the sum of the parts. Aside from thin, wispy hairlines seen here and there, very few distractions show up even under a loupe, aside from a handful of brief abrasions on the cheek. A dashing, entry-level type example at the mint-state level.
