Description: Blackjack Can Collection. VAM-1 features the normal mintmark on the reverse, not tilted as with VAM-2. Fields on either side retain a faint hint of reflectivity, suggesting this may have been a semi-prooflike example when struck, although of course, circulation has taken gleam off the surface and left hazy wear overall. The curl over the ear and the eagle's breast feathers have become somewhat flattened, as befits the grade, although the wings maintain fully outlined feathers. An oblong mark crosses the eye, representing the sole distraction.
