Description: Annabel Peters Consignment. Obv: diademed and draped bust right of Cleopatra. Rev: eagle stands facing left, poised on thunderbolt between cornucopia and mark of value. Cleopatra ranks as one of the most captivating women in history and was mistress to both Caesar and Marc Antony. The obverse of this example is superbly centered on a well-sized flan, and the reverse faces up with surprisingly accurate centering as well. Excellent color for the type despite moderate wear and modest porosity.
