Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1847-C PCGS Genuine, UNC details/scratch
Lot Number: 751
Description: Hal Dennis Consignment. Shame shame shame, as a single, brief, but admittedly sharp scratch on the cheek separates this very difficult Charlotte piece from at least the MS-62 grade level. Although the 1847-C is the most plentiful quarter-eagle emission from the southern mint, examples are still highly sought for type purposes, and had this been a lightly circulated coin, the "scratch" might have passed muster. A chance to cash in on past transgressions!
