Description: The F. Raphael Collection. 1800 Sheldon-209 shows the curious low-contrast appearance often associated with smoothed and recolored surfaces, but the mild blurring of the sharpness still permits claims to the VF grade level. 1802 Sheldon-226 shares similar evidence of smoothing but offers improved contrast and nicer gloss that helps compensate for a pitted area just beneath CE on the reverse. Two coin lot.
