Description: The F. Raphael Collection. Sheldon-192 (R.4) implements the familiar Redbook 1800/79 overdate which narrows down attribution substantially. The obverse offers outstanding visual appeal for a die-marriage that often suffers from sub-par planchets, as that side seems fully smooth and shows near-ideal color. A light pin scratch off right of the portrait is not bothersome. Planchet issues become more apparent as viewed from the reverse, since a couple of surface pits show up near "ED", and the right side shows evidence of a significant planchet lamination generally following the curve of AMERICA. VF sharpness.
