Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1834 PCGS MS-65
Lot Number: 389
Description: LM-2 has S8 nearly touching the cap, and represents one of the common die-marriages within the half-dime series. While the odds of a silver coin remaining this white over the course of nearly 200 years can be argued, that same bright, white presence will appeal to the many collectors who feel that "brilliant is best", and seek an untoned type representative for the bust half-dime series. Furthering the notion that this should be a superior example, the most precious of details have been brought up over the entire coin, including exceedingly minute die-lines, such as the vertical one at "E" in UNITED, and even some delicate engraving lines in the folds of the bust. A coin with formidable appeal, that's for certain!
