Description: HK-12 (R.5). NGC provided no analysis but this medal should be 45 millimeters with a plain edge. Chief engraver William Barber prepared the dies for Philadelphia which struck a limited number of original examples out of very thick planchet stock. An immaculately preserved medal that displays a narrow thread of red surrounding Grant's portrait.
