Description:	Bert Davies Collection. Sheldon-8, R.3 (we believe). Cataloger's grade: [details of G-4, burnished, net Fair-2]. The reverse appears to be bulged and showing a diagonal bisecting die crack, which would indicate die-state III if attribution is correct. It's tough to be sure because of the general roughness seen throughout, later burnished so as to help the eye-appeal (which it did -- considerably, in fact).
