Description: Newman 13-X. A radial die crack extending toward 6:00 on the reverse identifies the die-state as the same as numerous examples from the New York Bank hoard, although those tend to appear in UNC while NGC considers the present example to have circulated slightly. NGC (NCS) also mentions "improperly cleaned" but a subsequent effort to recolor the surface results in a reasonable appearance.
