Description: J.S.P. Collection. Noe-16 (R.5) we believe, but not only is the coin extensively worn, but NGC bizarrely chose to face it upside-down in the slab. Presuming correct attribution, these must have been very late dies, explaining an enlarged die crack beneath LAND. The date side was much better struck than the oak tree side -- another distinction seen on later struck pieces. NGC's listed weight of 30.8 grs would be consistent with the tolerance of a well-worn example.
