NGC flat-out blew it by not indicating "the best" repunched mintmark for 1909-S, as there are clearly multiple serifs, the mintmark tilts right, and hovers a little right of center of "90" in the date. The surface appears generally clean and smoothly lustrous with an average strike for the issue.
