The amount of cartwheeling luster that remains would be right at home on a coin situated slightly higher in the near-mint category, and neither side shows more than a trifling hint of rub. The cataloger can only surmise that a plethora of delicate contact marks put NGC on the cusp of AU-55/58 for this low-mintage Saint -- lowest, in fact, except for the high-relief emission. Premier quality for the grade and assured of eliciting vigorous bids.
