Description: The Supernova Collection. Here lies a twin killing of early United States proof sets that includes a 1950 and a 1951 five piece run that are both stored in Capital plastics holders. The 1950 set offers a very traditional pattern with a nice mix of bright and white issues and a fiery red Lincoln cent. The 1951 set is very similar with a bit more of a cameo effect noticed, especially on the Washington quarter and the Lincoln cent. Lightly cleaned surfaces are noticed with regards to the 1950 Franklin half-dollar (ck).
