Description: This lot contains the following two items: A) Circa 1980/1990 or so, this turquoise, red coral and sterling silver (tested, not marked) necklace has a design that is most pleasing. Featuring six bezel set cabs of turquoise and red coral, the bottom pendant of the piece features a further three cabs. The coral appears to be from at least four different mines, although they are consistent in color. The silver beads used to create the design are not seamed, thereby indicating a later manufacture. Condition is very nice with a vintage patina to the metal. Length: 21”, 4.73 troy ounces. B) Circa 1980/1990. Wow! If you love a Native American design that isn’t made in the USA, you can’t beat this one! Made in Mexico, this sterling silver (hallmarked) pendant features two bezel set turquoise cabs as well as one large carnelian. The front of the pendant features a design including butterflies and leaves and the reverse is fully signed, with not only a sterling silver hallmark but the design number, place of origin and the maker’s signature. Truly, it doesn’t get any better than this when looking for provenance of a piece! Sorry, we could not find any information on this artisan but it’s quite clear that his pieces should appreciate in value. Dimensions 3.75” x 2.25”, 2.06 troy ounces.
