Lot Title: Two Native American Squash Blossoms
Lot Number: 299
Description: This lot contains the following two items: A) Circa 1960/1970, this red coral and sterling silver (tested, not marked) squash blossom is a real statement piece! With 12 blossoms set between seamed beads, the sides end at the bottom in a 5 stone topped naja. Condition is outstanding for its age with vintage patina and only a light polish is needed to take the small amount of tarnish the piece displays. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length: 26”, 5.00 troy ounces. B) OMG! Can you believe this squash blossom necklace was made specifically for a child. Hmmm or maybe a doll? Circa 1960, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) piece features cabs of orange/red coral and turquoise as well as a few feather flourishes. There are 10 blossoms on the sides and one naja at the bottom holding five stones. Vintage patina that can be left as is or polished to a high shine. Length: 17.25”, 1.63 troy ounces.
