Description: The First Through Last Collection. 120 graded MS-65, 35 higher at PCTS. Striking definition on both sides is as close to full as will ever be seen for 1925-D. The date is known for terrible strikes, due in part to dies that had to be constantly repolished after clashing -- the reverse still retains noticeable clash marks. Predominantly pinkish grey, a good lamp reveals lavender highlights and occasional hints of orange. One nick just left of the ear and another at the top of the forehead attest to the grade level.
