Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1870-CC PCGS Fair-2
Lot Number: 883
Description: Offshore Technician Consignment. Cherry-picked from a low grade collection, it's easy to see why this rare Carson City made its way into a bag of junk silver. Extensive wear reduces all details to mere shadows and more than a passing glance is required to discover the faint mintmark. Both sides exhibit utterly original grey color, the byproduct of simple, honest wear. 1870-CC needs no introduction for Seated Liberty quarter collectors, as its rarity gets exceeded only by the 1866 "no motto" (unique) and extremely rare 1873-CC "no arrows" issues.
