Lot Title: China - 1914 $1 recut star Y-329, L&M-63 - PCGS MS-61
Lot Number: 145
Description: Jerry Odom Collection. KM#Y329, China-Republic, Shih-kai Year 3 (1914). Yuan connected and stars recut variety. The "Fatman dollar" might be the best recognized type coin for western collectors and any mint-state example will prove popular as it crosses the auction block. This specimen proclaims surprisingly exuberant luster for only MS-61 and the coin might well grade a point higher upon resubmission. Delicate abrading at the lower reverse appears to be pre-strike and should not adversely affect the grade.
Estimate: $500-$600
