Description: Junior Decker Collection. 76 graded MS-65, 4 higher at NGC. The fields show simply zero distractions. Amazingly well preserved for the date, the obverse portrait shows flat-out no consequential marks, and on the reverse, a single nick rests on the wing, left of which is a small, subtle scrape that essentially blends into to blazing luster. A very brief whiff of golden toning shows near the hair bun, while a larger area of toast-gold shows at the center of the reverse. NGC does not frequently dish out high grades for the 1925-S yet this coin fully deserves the grade and will prove nigh impossible to surpass.
