Description: As the key to the series, and given five points of circulation, this is a marvelous, first-rate example of the 1911-D, and that is in addition to the "strong D" designation that has been mentioned by PCGS. At arm's length, the coin truly appears essentially mint-state, albeit with only feeble luster due to mild wear. Closer inspection discloses smooth, even wear and absolutely no distractions. A remarkable find for the collector not wishing to pony up for the sizable increase in price at UNC.
