Description: Dabble Collection. Overton-107, "small 0". While not listed as a pickup point, die lines extend southwest from the end of the bust, accompanied by many other curious die lines in the vicinity. Despite being a common variety, at one time, almost no examples of O-107 were known to exceed the choice grade level, but PCGS declares this example to very nearly reach full gem status. Also unusual for the date, Liberty displays a boldly doubled profile, details everywhere else featuring really terrific sharpness. Nominally dark grey at first glance, further examination under a true white light creates lovely oil slick effect with wayfaring emerald-green, turquoise-rose and azure-chartreuse colors. Hairlines on the cheek are likely random but appear to form an "A".
