Description: Nicholas Jackson Collection. Overton-119, "medium 0". This is the only die-marriage that has a so-called medium zero in the date, and recutting shows at the upper left edge of the digit as is usually seen only on nicer, early die-state examples. In fact, this is such an early striking that a minute tine off the lower right of the zero still shows despite a modestly deficient striking that couldn't bring up all of the horizontal lines in the shield. BUS is entirely missing from the motto. Greyish-orange patina drapes the surface and features glimpses of pleasing lilac iridescence.
