Description: Nicholas Jackson Collection. Overton-103, with a "curl base 2, small date". While considered a common die-marriage, the curl base 2 has a lot of aesthetic appeal to many collectors and always sees strong demand. Chartreuse, ocean-blue and crimson toning encompasses the either side, with the reverse particularly nicely blessed with attractive album coloration, although as usual, one suspects the old ANACS slab actually painted this gorgeous palette. Delicately abraded overall, and therefore accounting for the grade, the obverse left field does also display a couple of small, subtle intrusions. Extensively lustrous on the reverse.
