Description: Nicholas Jackson Collection. Overton-102a, "small 8", the only such die marriage for the 1818/7 overdate. Substantially attractive mint luster rests peacefully beneath a layer of pearlescent olive-grey and circumferential chartreuse colors. Given the vital importance of the overdate feature, some collectors may be a little distracted by several brief scratches over and over the final digit but CAC does not seem to mind them, Decently sharp for the grade.
