Description: BC-35b. "Devil's Face" refers not to any distortion of Queen Elizabeth's features, but rather the fanciful belief that the hair cascading down the back of her neck appears to mimic a squinting, sneering face glaring off to the right. This is a sensational example with near-perfect centering and excellent margins, as well as absolutely blazing color. A tiny green dot at the top left probably holds the grade back from a stratospheric higher level.
