Description: While the 1907 high-relief has been very popular with collectors since they were struck, and across the budget spectrum, it is not a particularly rare coin. However, that very same tremendous popularity sustains high prices for any example in a straight-graded mint-state holder. AU examples are not a lot less expensive than lower mint-state coins, but a disclaimer like the PCGS "cleaned" suggestion offered here will likely lead to a much more approachable point of entry compared to, say, an AU-53 example. These surfaces are not really that excessively cleaned, but do suggest a hint of steely texture and slightly glossy hairlines in the fields.
