Description: Gigi Consignment. Chocolatey brown surfaces are noticed throughout this partially filled Whitman album collection of half-cents that span from 1797 through 1857 and includes a total of twenty-five examples. While there are plenty of voids to fill this collection would certainly make an excellent jump start to any half-cent collection. Included in this carefully constructed set is a 1797 (VG), an 1800 (VF, light clean), an 1803 (F+), an 1804 Crosslet 4 (VF+), an 1806 Large 6 (GD), an 1809 (VF, light clean), an 1856 (AU), and an 1857 (AU). The diversity of design with examples of Draped Bust, Classic Head, and Braided Hair half-cents gives this set a very encompassing appeal (ck).
