Description: The Crimson Collection. Cohen-3, B-3 (R.3). The vast majority of 1793 half-cents, whether with Liberty facing east or west, will have surface issues such as corrosion or other environmental effects, if only because of the copper alloy used in their manufacture. This example features dark brown hue with noticeable micro pitting, but the effect is not as prominent as is sometimes seen. Further, sharpness seems stronger than the basal very-fine grade -- perhaps as high as VF-25/30 albeit netted down for the roughness.
