Description: D.J.D. Collection. VAM-3A. 104 graded MS-67, 13 higher at PCGS. An almost outrageously white, dead ringer for the illustrations in the VAM book, the die clashes that exemplify state "A" show at Liberty's neck and with the two spikes beneath "In" on the reverse. Vast representation in the GSA hoards means the 1882-CC will never be rare in almost any grade, but unlike most that show distracting scuffs on the cheek, this extraordinary superb-gem evades nearly every sign of contact. A delicate, shiny graze on the nose and very few scattered microscopic abrasions are all that bar perfection.
