Description: Shenandoah Collection. The old NGC no-line holders have long been suspected of inducing tone for silver coins, and this is just the type of specimen that would exemplify that hypothesis. A narrow but vivid ring of rainbow color encircles much of the obverse, dissolving into crumbles of greyish tone above Liberty's head. Similar attractive color dominates the reverse as well. A sensational strike brought up nicely frosted motifs and although not really prooflike, some cameo effect can be seen on either side.
