Description: The Crimson Collection. Bolender-6, BB-241. The gap between "80" in the date quickly narrows attribution for this common die-marriage -- the most common by far for 1802. Moderately heavy wear has not erased the boldest details, as some internal hair strands show intermittently, and the shield features complete delineation of every single line (aside from a blunt abrasion). Butter-grey toning predominates, challenged by some powdery lilac hues within the fields.
