Description: Bolender-12, BB-184 (R.3). "R" in LIBERTY has been plainly recut, and on the reverse, an apostrophic die break rests just left of "U" in UNITED. Light graffiti has been abraded out of the obverse left field, but the repair was executed so skillfully that it can hardly be detected aside from faintly swirled tooling marks. The coin has also been cleaned overall, probably to bring consistency to the color, but truly, the appearance is not half as bad as is the number of words required to describe it.
