Description: The Crimson Collection. Boldender-12, BB-160 (R.3). Late die states for B-12 show many die cracks, but this example apparently was struck off of early, perfect dies, as the cataloger could find no die cracks on either side. Indeed, some references call this a "no berries" variety even though for such early dies, a couple of them can barely be seen. This is a terrific dollar otherwise, showing absolutely no obvious marks. A loupe must be used to discover a few curious tiny nicks above the first 9 and some other trivial abrasions.
